Johnson & Johnson proudly displayed their company's credo at their annual shareholder's meeting today, stating that they place "the needs and well-being of the people we serve first." They go on to discuss embracing research and science, as well as their concern for the health and well-being of the people who utilize their products. In response to John Fratti's speech at today's meeting, Mr. Gorsky said that they stand by their credo. If this is true, then why haven't they funded research efforts to develop treatments for those who have been harmed by their product Levaquin? They've known about the debilitating adverse reactions associated with their drug for many years and have done nothing to help those innocent patients who have had their lives ruined. They say they care about our "health and well-being," we say prove it by doing what's right! Demonstrate some integrity by helping those who've been harmed.

Johnson & Johnson, and Bayer could be helping the victims of fluoroquinolone antibiotic toxicity by further researching the damage caused by FQ's and how to treat such adverse reactions. They have the means to help those who've been harmed, and yet they choose not to. J&J's credo clearly states, "We believe our first responsibility is to the doctors, nurses, and patients, to mothers and fathers and all others who use our products and services." If that is true, they really ought to prove it. Help those you've harmed, fund the research, develop treatments, invest in prevention and protect those innocent "mothers and fathers and all others" who have used your fluoroquinolone products resulting in injury. Please help us.
